Decoherence is the mighty foe that challenges our quest for evermore powerful quantum technologies. Technologies, such as quantum computers, rely on quantum superposition and entanglement to unfold their full potential. With its corrosive grasp, decoherence dissolves the quantum nature of any system by entangling it with its environment. Thus, quantum computers will be limited in their abilities, as long as, decoherence reigns unchallenged.

However, scientists are not deterred: Equipped with quantum error correction, they strive to defend against decoherence's relentless assault. With a host of techniques, they try to fend off decoherence, yet still not powerful enough to keep decoherence at bay. Are you?
